My name is Mohammed, I am 22 years old, and I live in Gaza, Palestine. My family and I are among the many displaced by the ongoing war. Our home has been destroyed, and we now live in a tent in the city of Deir al-Balah, facing unimaginable challenges every day.
My father and older brother are trapped and besieged in the northern Gaza Strip, leaving me as the sole provider for my family. I live with my mother and my five younger sisters: Karam (3 years old), Ali (6 years old), and Majed (8 years old), along with my two teenage sisters. The burden of keeping my family safe and fed has fallen entirely on me, and I am struggling to provide even the most basic necessities.
Life here is incredibly difficult. We have no food, clean water, flour, or bread. The children are suffering the most, and with winter fast approaching, the harsh conditions in our tent are becoming unbearable. We lack warm clothing, blankets, and the resources needed to survive the cold nights.
